Sardine uses a data-driven approach to determine purchase limits. These limits are recalculated on a weekly or monthly basis and are designed to add an extra layer of security.
While maximum limits are constantly changing, the minimum order for buying crypto with Sardine in Exodus is $50 USD.
How do I buy crypto with Sardine?
You can buy crypto with Sardine in Exodus Mobile, Exodus Desktop, and Exodus Web3 Wallet.
Mobile
In Exodus Mobile, tap the Buy & Sell icon.
a) Tap Buy, b) select the currency you want to pay with, c) enter the amount, and d) select the crypto you want to buy.
Next, a) choose your payment method and b) third-party fiat API provider (if available). When you're ready, c) tap Continue.

And that's it! You'll receive an order confirmation email from Sardine, and your crypto will generally arrive between 5-20 minutes.

Why isn't my order going through?
Generally, your crypto will arrive between 5-20 minutes.
Some transactions may take a few hours to complete. This could happen if it's your first purchase, because Sardine might need to conduct additional checks.
If it's been longer than a few hours, please check the following:
1. Ensure your payment was completed.
First, check that your payment wasn't rejected for any reason.
After completing your order, you should have received an email with a link to the transaction summary. You can check the status of your order at any time with the link in your order confirmation email.
If your payment was rejected, you may need to contact your bank.
2. Ensure your Exodus wallet is synced to the blockchain.
