Everything you need to know about personal notes

Personal notes now make it easy to keep track of your outgoing transactions within Exodus. Here is everything you need to know about personal notes.

In this article:

What are personal notes and why are they useful?

When looking through your transaction history it can be hard to remember specific transactions. For example, why you sent Bitcoin to another address last week, or who you received Ethereum from 2 months ago.

This is where personal notes come in. Personal notes are notes that you can add yourself. You can add a personal note to any transaction inside your Exodus wallet. You can also edit the note as many times as you want, whenever you want.

This is useful to help you remember your transaction!

Who can see my personal notes?

Only you can see them! Your notes will not appear on the blockchain. Instead, Exodus encrypts this data to keep this information private and secure even when using Exodus across multiple devices.
