How do I deposit funds into tZERO?

Depositing USD and USDC into tZERO

USD and USD Coin (USDC) deposits are now live on tZERO! Depositing USD or USDC into tZERO ensures that you are ready to buy Exodus shares in the form of EXIT tokens. Trading was launched on September 14, 2021.

Depositing USD via bank account (ACH) is available for US customers. Depositing USD via wire transfer, and depositing USDC via Prime Trust, is available for both US and international customers.

When you deposit USDC you are actually sending it to Prime Trust (a custodial service) that converts it into USD, which is then deposited into your tZERO account. This process can take a couple of business days.

The tZERO ATS platform keeps regular US stock market trading hours. Trading is available weekdays 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. EST (except for stock market holidays).

What if I am located internationally?

If you are located in a supported international jurisdiction outside the US, you will be able to deposit funds into tZERO!

If you are located outside the US, and you are not a US citizen, then you will be prompted to fill out a W8-BEN form. This confirms that you are not subject to IRS tax withholdings.

Once this step is complete, and your account is approved, you can follow the steps to send a wire transfer to tZERO or deposit USDC.

How do I deposit USD into tZERO via my bank account (ACH)?

Go to the tZERO website and click Sign In.

Enter your email address and password and click Sign In.

You will see the option to Deposit Money or Link Bank Account. Click Link Account.

You will see a pop-up window explaining that tZERO uses Plaid to link your bank. Click Continue.

Search for your bank from the list, and select your bank.

Enter your bank account credentials to allow Plaid to retrieve your account.

Continue to follow the prompts on the screen. Once your bank account is linked, you will be able to deposit USD from your bank account into tZERO!

How do I deposit USD into tZERO via wire transfer?

Go to the tZERO website and click Sign In.

You will see the option to Deposit Money or Link Bank Account. Click Deposit Money.

Click Wire Transfer Instructions. A wire transfer form will open with all the information you need to wire USD to your tZERO account.

How do I deposit USDC into tZERO?

Go to the tZERO website and click Sign In.

Enter your email address and password and click Sign In

Click Transfer Funds.

Scroll down to where it says Convert USD Coin (USDC), Bitcoin (BTC), or Ethereum (ETH) to USD. If you consent to tZERO Markets sharing your account information, a) click the checkbox, and b) click Get Started.

Please read the information about creating an account with Prime Trust. If you agree, a) click the checkbox and b) click Submit.

You will see a message that your application has been submitted. Click Close.

After you are approved, you will see a USDC address. You can a) copy the address by clicking on the two squares and then b) close the portal.

Navigate to your USDC wallet in Exodus, according to which asset you are depositing. a) Make sure it is USDC on the Ethereum network and b) click Send.

a) Paste the address in the address field, and b) select the amount of USDC you would like to send. c) You can take note of the transaction fee, and when everything looks good, d) click Send.

Your USDC will arrive in tZERO within a few business days.
