- You can type in an amount in fiat value by tapping the fiat name to the top right of the keyboard.
-
- 5
- Tap on the Tap to paste address field to paste the address you'd like to send to.
-
-
Just like traditional bank transfers, Exodus needs the address you want to send to. This address is similar to a bank account number. You can request a receive address from the person you want to send your crypto to.
- 6
- Or, you can use the QR reader by tapping on the QR icon to the right of the send field.
-
- 7
- To manually enter an address, tap and hold the Tap to paste address field to pull up a keyboard.
-
-
When manually inputting an address, be sure to double-check that the address you entered is identical to the address you want to send to. Funds sent to an incorrect address are not recoverable. Blockchain transactions are also not reversible or refundable. If you send crypto to the wrong address it will be lost.
- 8
- Optionally, you can type in a short personal note to make it easier to remember this transaction in the future. For Bitcoin, Ethereum, and ERC20 tokens, you can enter a custom network fee for a cheaper transaction. Tap on the Advanced button above the address input.
-
- Then type in your note, set your fee, and tap Confirm.
-
- 9
- Then tap Send.
-
- 10
- Review your transaction. If it all looks good, slide the arrow to send your crypto.
-
-
Double-check that the address is correct! Transactions on the blockchain are irreversible.
- 11
- If your wallet is secured with a passcode, TouchID or FaceID, you will need to authenticate before your funds are sent!
Once sent, your transaction has been broadcasted to the network and Exodus will tell you your transaction was successful.
If your crypto has not arrived at the destination straight away, please be patient as your transaction may take time to confirm depending on network congestion before you see it in your receiving service.
