Why are some assets unavailable to swap?
There are a few reasons why an asset may be unavailable in Exodus Swap:
Temporarily unavailable: An asset may be temporarily offline due to maintenance, network issues, network congestion, or downtime from our third-party API swap providers. Assets may be unavailable for a few hours or for more extended periods.
Exodus updates swap availability in real time, so if an asset is temporarily unavailable, you can check back later.
Availability can vary by location: Asset support may vary based on location. In some regions, swapping is not supported.
Not supported by Exodus Swap: Some assets or swap combinations are not supported by our third-party API swap providers.
The best way to check availability is directly in Exodus. If the option to swap appears for the asset, it’s supported. For more information, visit: Which assets are available to swap in Exodus?
If an asset isn't available to swap in Exodus, you have the option to send it to another platform: Where else can I swap?
Why are some swap combinations not available?
Sometimes, you may find that two assets supported by Exodus Swap can’t be swapped directly with each other.
In other cases, swapping from Asset A to Asset B is supported, but swapping from Asset B to Asset A is not.
This happens because our third-party API providers might not support every swap combination, and some asset pairs might be temporarily unavailable, or not available.
Why is Exodus Swap unavailable in my location?
In some regions, regulations prevent some or all crypto swaps. To comply with these laws, our third-party swap API providers prohibit customers in affected regions from swapping in Exodus.
Currently, Exodus Swap is unavailable in:
Cuba
Iran
North Korea
Syria
Ukraine: Crimea, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions
United States: New York (NY) and Washington (WA) states
If you are located in one of these jurisdictions, you'll see a message that swapping is unavailable.

Where else can I swap?
If Exodus Swap is unavailable to you, or a specific swap isn’t supported, you can look for an alternative swap platform.
To find another platform, visit CoinMarketCap, search for your asset, then click on Markets. This will show you a list of platforms (in the Exchange column) where it's possible to swap that asset.
