How can I tell which network my asset uses?

Before sending crypto from Kraken to Exodus, it's important to know which network your asset uses in Exodus.

Some assets can operate on multiple networks, but Exodus might not support every asset on all networks.

You can easily identify the network an asset uses in Exodus by checking its network badge.

Here are examples of network badges in Mobile, Desktop, and Web3 Wallet:

If an asset doesn't have a network badge or dropdown menu, it runs on its own network. For example, Litecoin (LTC) does not have a network badge or dropdown menu, so it can only be sent, received, and swapped on the Litecoin network.

Which network should I choose?

Generally, you should select the network by choosing the cryptocurrency's name (e.g., Bitcoin) or ticker (e.g., BTC).

If an asset supports multiple networks, you can use any network supported by Exodus (indicated by the network badge in your wallet). If you're uncertain, feel free to contact us at [email protected] for assistance.

When sending crypto from Kraken to Exodus, you have to select the network you want to receive it on when adding a new address.
