How do I transfer between Exodus and Kraken?

How do I receive crypto in Exodus from Kraken?

Mobile

  1. In the Kraken app, sign in to your account and tap More.

  2. Tap Withdraw.

  3. Tap the asset you want to send to your Exodus wallet.

  4. Open Exodus and copy the address for the asset you're sending from Kraken to Exodus. Follow this guide to find your receive address: How do I receive Bitcoin and other crypto in Exodus?

    When you view the address for your asset, check which network it uses. You'll need to select which network to use if the asset is available on multiple networks.

  5. Back in Kraken, tap Add new address.

  6. Select the network.

    Make sure the network you select in Kraken matches the network of the Exodus receive address you viewed in Step 4. Selecting the wrong network can result in loss of funds: Which network should I choose?

  7. Paste the Exodus address you copied in step 4. Then, follow the steps to complete adding your Exodus address.

  8. Once added, enter or choose the amount you want to withdraw from Kraken to Exodus.

  9. Tap Review.

  10. Review your transaction details, then Swipe to withdraw.

    When you view the address for your asset, check which network it uses. If the asset is available on multiple networks, you'll need to select which network to use.

  2. Go to the Kraken website, sign in to your account, and click Withdraw.

  3. Click the asset you want to send to your Exodus wallet.

  4. Select the network.

    Make sure the network you select in Kraken matches the network of the Exodus receive address you viewed in Step 1. Selecting the wrong network can result in loss of funds: Which network should I choose?

  5. Once you select the network, click Add [asset] address.

  6. a) Enter an address description, b) paste the Exodus address you copied in step 1, and c) click Add withdrawal address.

  7. Once added, enter or choose the amount you want to send from Kraken to Exodus.

  8. Click Withdraw [asset].

  9. Review your transaction details, then click Withdraw [amount + asset].


How do I send crypto to Kraken from Exodus?

  1. In the Kraken app, sign in to your account and a) tap Deposit.

  2. Search for the asset you want to send from your Exodus wallet to Kraken.

  3. Select the network.

  4. Read the instructions and tap I understand.

How can I tell which network my asset uses in Exodus?

Before sending assets between Kraken and Exodus, it’s important to confirm which network your asset uses in Exodus and which networks are available in Kraken.

Some assets exist on multiple networks, but Exodus and Kraken might not support all of them. If you send on a network that isn't supported, your funds may be lost or fail to appear.

Which network should I choose?

When transferring crypto between Kraken and Exodus, you need to select the same network on both platforms.


In most cases, this means choosing the network by selecting the asset's main blockchain (e.g., Bitcoin or BTC).

Is there a fee for transferring crypto between Kraken and Exodus?

All crypto transactions sent from one wallet to another will incur a network transaction fee.

How long do transactions between Kraken and Exodus take?

The time it takes for your transaction to arrive depends on the asset and the network it uses. Each network has different block times and confirmation speeds.

Once a transaction is broadcast from either Kraken or Exodus, network congestion and the fee used may affect its confirmation time. Most transactions typically take between 5 minutes and 1 hour.
