Support for Exodus Web3 Wallet is ending
Support for Exodus Web3 Wallet will end on October 1, 2026.
If you have funds in Exodus Web3 Wallet, move them to another wallet before support ends, or restore your wallet in Exodus Mobile or another compatible wallet.
If you use Exodus Web3 Wallet, you'll see a reminder that support is ending, along with options for moving your funds:
a) Restore in Exodus Mobile: opens a guide to restore your wallet using your secret phrase
b) Send assets: Takes you to the asset with the highest balance so you can send funds out. You can send the remaining assets one at a time.
c) View 12-word secret key: View your 12-word secret key so you can restore your wallet in Exodus Mobile or another compatible wallet.
d) Continue: Closes the prompt.
You'll also see banners throughout the wallet reminding you that support for Exodus Web3 Wallet is ending. Clicking on the banner opens the prompt shown above.
Can I use Exodus Web3 Wallet until October 1, 2026?
If you have Exodus Web3 wallet installed and hold funds in it, you can continue using it with reduced functionality until support ends on October 1, 2026.
You can manage your existing assets, including sending crypto or NFTs to another wallet, or unstake and claim staked assets.
Certain features are no longer available, including viewing your receive address or QR code, staking, and buying or selling crypto.
How can I access my funds?
If you currently hold assets in the Exodus Web3 Wallet, you can send them to another wallet or restore your wallet in Exodus Mobile or another compatible wallet. This will ensure you can continue accessing your assets after support ends.
Send your assets to another wallet
Until October 1, 2026, you can send assets from Exodus Web3 Wallet to another supported wallet or platform.

Restore your wallet in Exodus Mobile or a compatible wallet
Since Exodus is a self-custody wallet, your 12-word secret key gives you full control over your funds from Exodus Web3 Wallet. You can use it to restore your wallet in Exodus Mobile or another compatible wallet.

For Exodus Mobile, you can restore your wallet using the 12-word secret key from your Web3 Wallet.
If you want to use a wallet other than Exodus Mobile, the safest option is to send your funds directly from Exodus Web3 Wallet to the compatible wallet.

Why can't I create or restore a wallet in Exodus Web3 Wallet?
If you have Exodus Web3 Wallet installed but never created a wallet, you can no longer create a new wallet or restore an existing one. You’ll see a message that the browser extension has been discontinued:
