How do I connect to dApps and web3 apps with Exodus Mobile?
The Web3 tile in Exodus Mobile is your portal to dApps and web3 apps.
WalletConnect lets you connect to dApps and web3 apps by scanning a QR code, copying and pasting a link, or via mobile linking. Once connected to a web3 app, you can approve and sign transactions from your mobile wallet.

WalletConnect
With WalletConnect in Exodus Mobile, you can connect to dApps and web3 apps by scanning a QR code, copying and pasting a link into Exodus Mobile, or via mobile linking.
Once connected to a web3 app, you can initiate and sign transactions from Exodus Mobile. This opens up the world of web3, allowing you to bid on NFTs, play games, participate in DeFi, and more.
On June 28, 2023, WalletConnect updated to v2.0. When using WalletConnect in Exodus, you will only be able to connect to web3 apps that have also updated to WalletConnect v2.0.
WalletConnect is not supported with the Ledger and Exodus integration.

With WalletConnect in Exodus Mobile, you can connect to web3 apps on the following networks:
Ethereum
Algorand
Avalanche C-Chain
Base
BNB Smart Chain
Fantom
Polygon
Solana
How do I connect with a QR code?
This guide shows how to connect to MagicEden, but the steps are similar for other web3 apps.
Magic Eden is a third-party platform that is not affiliated with Exodus. As such, Exodus cannot guarantee the performance of its products/services or that the steps shown and the information provided will always be accurate.
Navigate to the web3 app you'd like to connect to and look for the connection button, usually labeled Connect Wallet, Connect to a Wallet, or Connect. Click it to open the connection menu.
If the web3 app supports multiple networks, a) select your network, then b) click Show more to reveal all the options.
Select WalletConnect.
a) Ensure QR Code is selected. b) Scan the QR code or c) copy the link and paste it into Exodus Mobile.
In Exodus Mobile, a) tap the Wallet icon, then b) swipe down to go to the profile screen.
Tap Web3.
Tap on the QR code icon in the top right corner.
a) Scan the web3 app's QR code or b) tap the Paste connection link text field to paste the link copied in step 4.
Exodus Mobile will ask for permission to connect. If you have multiple portfolios, you can select which portfolio to use by a) tapping the Portfolio icon and then b) selecting a portfolio.
Next, Slide to approve.
Some web3 apps require a signature to prove you own the wallet you are connecting. This will not incur a network fee. Confirm all the details are correct, then slide the arrow on Approve.
Exodus Mobile is now connected to the web3 app.
How do I connect via mobile linking?
Exodus also supports mobile linking when using WalletConnect.
However, not every dApp and web3 app supports this feature. If you can't connect with mobile linking, you can connect by scanning the QR code instead: Connect with QR code.
This guide shows how to connect to Compound Finance, but the steps are similar for other web3 apps.

In the web3 app on your mobile device, tap Connect a wallet or Connect, and select WalletConnect.
Select Exodus as the wallet you want to connect with.
If you don't see Exodus, a) tap View all, then b) search for Exodus, and c) tap on the Exodus logo.
Exodus Mobile will ask for permission to connect. If you have multiple portfolios, you can select which portfolio to use by a) tapping the Portfolio icon and then b) selecting a portfolio.
Next, Slide to approve.

And you are done! Your mobile wallet is connected to the web3 app.
How do I disconnect from web3 apps in WalletConnect?
To disconnect, open Exodus Mobile and a) tap the Wallet icon, then b) swipe down to go to the profile screen.
Tap Web3.
Tap the Connections tab in the top right corner.
Tap on the connection you want to remove.
Tap the Remove icon.
To confirm you want to remove the connection, tap Remove.
How do I approve a request?
When you connect to a dApp or web3 app with WalletConnect, you will approve transactions and requests from Exodus Mobile.
When approving, you'll see a prompt in Exodus Mobile showing the network used, the network transaction fee, and the Exodus portfolio you are using for the web3 connection. Slide the arrow to the right to approve the request.
How do I see my WalletConnect transaction history?
Transactions will show as normal send or receive transactions and can be viewed along with your other transactions.
For example, if you want to see your Ethereum web3 browser transactions, navigate to your Ethereum wallet and scroll down to view your transaction history.
How can I stay safer when connecting to web3 apps?
Only connect to dApps and web3 apps you trust. DApps and web3 apps are third-party platforms that are not affiliated with Exodus. Exodus can't vouch for the safety or security of any third party.
