Web3 browser in Exodus Mobile

Everything you need to know about the web3 browser, and how to connect to dApps and web3 apps, sign and approve transactions, and remove connections.

The web3 browser is no longer available for new Exodus wallets created after April 22, 2026.

  • If you created your wallet after this date, you won't be able to connect to web3 apps with the web3 browser.

  • If you created your Exodus wallet before this date, you'll still be able to use the web3 browser to connect to web3 apps.

How do I connect to dApps and web3 apps in Exodus Mobile?

The web3 browser is only available if you created your wallet before April 22, 2026.

This article explains how to connect to dApps and web3 apps with the web3 browser using an existing Exodus Mobile wallet.

If you created your wallet before April 22, 2026, then you can also connect to web3 apps with WalletConnect. To learn more, visit: WalletConnect in Exodus.

If you created your wallet before April 22, 2026, and you have a Ledger or Trezor Safe 7 connected to Exodus Mobile, you'll be able to connect to web3 apps with the web3 browser. However, please note that WalletConnect is not supported with the Exodus integration of Ledger and Trezor Safe 7.


Web3 browser

With the web browser, you can browse and connect to web3 apps from the Explore tab. Once connected, you can approve and sign transactions with Exodus Mobile.

When you connect to web3 apps with the web3 browser, you sign requests and approve transactions from your Exodus Mobile.


Which networks are supported?

You can connect to web3 apps on the networks listed below.

The web3 browser in Exodus Mobile is only available if you created your wallet before April 22, 2026.


How do I connect to web3 apps with the web3 browser?

Raydium and Compound Finance are third-party platforms that are not affiliated with Exodus. As such, Exodus cannot guarantee the performance of its products/services or that the steps shown and the information provided will always be accurate.

  1. In Exodus Mobile, a) tap the Wallet icon, then b) swipe down to go to the profile screen.

  2. Tap Web3.

    The web3 menu and its features are only available if you created your wallet before April 22, 2026. It won't be available if your wallet was created after this date.

  3. a) Tap Explore. From here, you can b) browse through a short list of curated web3 apps, c) search through the full list with the search bar, d) filter by network with the network filter, and e) view your favorite web3 apps.

    Tap on the web3 app you wish to connect to.

  4. If the web3 app you want to connect to is not on the curated list, a) enter its name in the search bar, then b) tap to search for it on Brave Search.


    Brave Search will open in a browser and show the results. If you see the website of the web3 app, tap on it.

    ​You can only connect to web3 apps on supported networks.

  5. With some web3 apps, you'll automatically connect after opening the web3 app.

    If you don't automatically connect, look for the connection button, usually labeled Connect Wallet, Connect to a Wallet, or Connect. Tap the connection button, and Exodus will connect to the web3 app.

    ​If you are asked to select a connection method, select Exodus. If Exodus isn't available, tap Browser Wallet, MetaMask (Ethereum and EVM connections), or Phantom (Solana connections).

  6. Some web3 apps require a signature to prove you own the wallet you are connecting. This will not incur a network fee. Confirm all the details are correct, then slide the arrow on Approve.

  7. When using the web3 browser, you'll a) see the portfolio you are connected with and your portfolio balance. You can b) tap on the portfolio icon to switch to a different portfolio.

  8. If the web3 app supports multiple networks, you can switch networks within its interface.

How do I refresh a web3 app?

To refresh the website of the web3 app you're using, follow the steps below:

  1. To refresh a web3 app in the web3 browser, first tap the menu in the top right.

  2. Tap Refresh Web3 App.


How do I switch between my portfolios?

To switch between your different portfolios, follow the steps below:

  1. In the web3 browser, once connected to a dApp or web3 app, tap on the portfolio icon.

  2. Tap the portfolio you want to use with the web3 browser to connect to web3 apps.


How do I disconnect from web3 apps?

To disconnect from dApps and web3 apps, follow the steps below:

  1. In Exodus Mobile, a) tap the Wallet icon, then b) swipe down to go to the profile screen.

  2. Tap Web3.

  3. a) Tap Tabs. Here you can see all the web3 apps you are currently connected to. To disconnect from a specific web3 app, b) tap on the X next to the web3 app. To disconnect from all web3 apps, c) tap Clear All.


How do I approve a request?

When you interact with a dApp or web3 app from the web3 browser, all transactions and requests must be approved from Exodus Mobile. To approve a request, follow the steps below:

  1. When you need to approve a request, you'll receive a prompt with details such as the network (chain), fees, and assets.

  2. To approve the request, move the slider to the right.


How do I see my web3 browser transaction history?

Transactions made with the web3 browser will show as normal send or receive transactions and can be viewed along with your other transactions.

For example, if you want to see your Ethereum web3 browser transactions, navigate to your Ethereum wallet and scroll down to view your transaction history.


How do I add a web3 app to my favorites?

You can keep track of web3 apps in the web3 browser by marking them as favorites. When you mark a web3 app as a favorite, it will appear in your Favorites tab.

It is only possible to favorite curated web3 apps.

  1. In Exodus Mobile, a) tap the Wallet icon, then b) swipe down to go to the profile screen.

  2. Tap Web3.

  3. a) Tap Explore, then b) tap the web3 app you want to add to your favorites.

  4. Tap the star in the top right corner to add the web3 app to your favorites. If you wish to remove a web3 app from your favorites, tap the star again so it's not highlighted.

  5. a) From the Explore tab, b) you'll be able to view all the web3 apps you added to your favorites. To see the full list of your favorite web3 apps, c) tap See All.


How can I stay safer when connecting to web3 apps?

Only connect to dApps and web3 apps you trust. DApps and web3 apps are third-party platforms that are not affiliated with Exodus. Exodus can't vouch for the safety or security of any third party.

Why am I seeing an update warning?

To use the Web3 browser in Exodus Mobile, it's necessary to keep your phone's operating system updated.

If you visit a dApp or web3 app while using an outdated operating system, you'll receive a warning. To continue browsing securely, update your device.

Android

On Android, open Settings and tap System, then tap System Update. Once updated, return to Exodus Mobile to continue browsing securely.


iOS

On iOS, open Settings and tap General, then tap Software Update. Once updated, return to Exodus Mobile to continue browsing securely.
