Banxa is a service that allows you to buy cryptocurrency using Interac e-transfers and debit cards.
Buying crypto with Banxa in Exodus is available in Exodus Mobile for customers located in Canada.
In Exodus, when you buy crypto with Banxa, your wallet connects to Onramper, which routes you to Banxa.
Onramper is an aggregator for crypto purchases. It allows you to connect Exodus with Banxa to complete the purchase.

Buying crypto with Banxa is currently available for customers in Canada.
Which cryptocurrencies are available for purchase through Banxa?
To see a list of available cryptocurrencies that you can purchase through Banxa, visit their website: Supported Cryptocurrencies and Blockchains.
Only Banxa assets supported by Exodus can be purchased. If a cryptocurrency does not show as an option to purchase in your Exodus wallet, then it is not available.
Custom tokens are not available to purchase through Banxa.

Banxa accepts the payment methods below:

Currently, it is only possible to buy crypto with Banxa using CAD (Canadian Dollars).
What are the fees for buying crypto?
Fees will change in response to market conditions.
When buying crypto, fees are included in the total amount shown before completing the purchase.

To see your fees, on the order payment screen, a) tap the arrow located under the order summary to b) reveal the fees.
What are the order limits?
Currently, there are no advertised order limits for Banxa. The exact order limit will vary depending on your location and payment method.

How do I buy crypto with Banxa?
You can buy crypto with Banxa in Exodus Mobile.
Mobile
In Exodus Mobile, tap the Buy & Sell icon.
a) On the Buy tab, b) select CAD (Canadian Dollar), c) enter the amount, and d) select the crypto you want to buy.
The amount you will receive and pay (including fees) will be shown on the order payment screen before finalizing the purchase.
Next, a) choose your payment method, b) tap the third-party fiat API provider type to select Banxa (if available), and c) tap Buy.
For more information about choosing a different third-party fiat API provider, jump to: How do I select a different third-party fiat API provider?You will be routed to Banxa via Onramper, where you will need to complete identity verification. a) Enter your email address, b) check the terms and conditions, and then c) tap Submit my verification.
All customers, regardless of the amount spent, are required to go through the verification process. If you previously purchased with Banxa and completed verification, it will remember your details. In that case, after entering your email and the verification code sent to your email, you're taken directly to the payment steps.
Lastly, you can a) confirm your purchase details on the payment screen. When you're ready, scroll down and b )tap Submit payment.
And that's it! You'll receive an order confirmation email from Banxa, and your crypto will generally arrive between 5-20 minutes.

How do I select a different third-party fiat API provider?
Depending on the crypto you are buying, your region, and local crypto regulations, different third-party fiat API providers may be available to you.
Mobile
First, a) select the payment method. If multiple third-party fiat API providers support that payment method, b) the third-party fiat API provider will be underlined. Tap it to see your options.
Choose any available third-party fiat API provider.

Why isn't my order going through?
Generally, your crypto will arrive between 5-20 minutes.
Some transactions may take a few hours to complete. This could happen if it's your first purchase, because Banxa may need to conduct additional checks.
However, some factors could prevent your payment from going through, which may stop your crypto from arriving.
Ensure your payment was completed:
First, check that your payment wasn't rejected for any reason.
After completing your order, you should receive a confirmation email with your order ID.
If your payment was rejected, you may need to contact your bank.
Ensure your Exodus wallet is synced to the blockchain:
If your payment went through, and it's been longer than 5-20 minutes, and you still haven't received your crypto, check that your wallet is synced to the blockchain.
Refresh your wallet's connection to the blockchain.
If you're on an older version of the wallet, update to the latest version of Exodus.
If your transaction has been stuck for a few hours and there's no clear action to take, contact Banxa Support.
How do I find my Banxa order ID?
If you contact Banxa's support team, please provide your order ID so they can help you faster.
After completing your order, you'll receive an email with all your purchase details, including your order ID.
Currently, it is not possible to see your Banxa order ID in Exodus.
