What is XO Swap by Exodus?
XO Swap by Exodus lets you connect to third-party exchange API providers in Ledger Live to swap crypto.
With XO Swap, you can conduct swaps from your self-custody wallet. Thousands of crypto pairs are available. Unlike centralized platforms, you control if, when, and how much of your crypto will pass into the custody of a third-party exchange API provider.
When you swap crypto, your chosen crypto is sent to the third-party exchange API provider facilitating the order. This is an on-chain transaction and incurs a network transaction fee. When your swap is completed, you receive the swapped crypto back in your wallet.
How do I swap crypto with XO Swap in Ledger Live?
XO Swap is available in the desktop Ledger Live app.
Desktop
In the Ledger Live app, under Menu, a) click Swap. b) This will take you to the Swap tab.
a) Select the To and From assets, then b) enter the amount you want to swap.
Note that there are swap minimums and maximums.
You can view the transaction fees before completing the swap. To select a different transaction fee, click Change.
If you set the transaction fee too low, the transaction could get stuck pending.
In the list of quotes, a) choose Exodus and b) click Swap with Exodus.
Connect and unlock your Ledger.
Follow the instructions on your Ledger. Depending on the model, use the buttons or touch screen to allow My Ledger and to open the Exchange app.
If required apps are missing from your device, Ledger will automatically install them.
Your Ledger will display the transaction details. Use the buttons or touch screen to verify the swap details and sign the transaction.
That's it! Your new crypto will arrive in your wallet shortly. If you need to contact Exodus Support about your swap, you can find your swap ID in the History tab.

Here are the steps to find your swap ID from the third-party exchange API provider associated with your XO Swap order.
In the Ledger Live app, under Menu, a) click Swap, then b) click the History tab. This will show you a list of past swaps. c) Click on an order to find the swap ID.
You can find the swap ID in the swap details screen. Click to copy it.
