How do I refresh my wallet?

If your wallet is out of sync you may have issues with sending, swapping, or seeing the correct balance. Learn how to refresh your wallet.

Did you send crypto to your wallet, but it's not showing in your balance? Is your Bitcoin balance incorrect, or are you getting errors when you're trying to send or swap crypto?

If so, your wallet may be out of sync with the blockchain. A quick wallet refresh often fixes several balance-related issues.

How do I refresh Exodus Mobile?

How do I refresh the network for a specific asset?

Refreshing the network of a specific asset scans the selected asset's blockchain and updates your transaction history and balance.

To refresh all your assets, see the below section: How do I refresh all networks?

  1. In Exodus Mobile, a) tap the Wallet icon, then b) select the asset you want to refresh.

  2. Tap the menu icon in the top right corner.

  3. Tap Refresh Network.

  4. While refreshing, a loading icon will appear over the asset icon. Once finished, your wallet will be refreshed and successfully synced with the blockchain.


How do I refresh all networks?

A full network refresh scans the blockchains for all assets in your wallet and updates your transaction history and balance for each asset.

  1. In Exodus Mobile, a) tap the Wallet icon, then b) swipe down to go to the profile screen.

  2. Tap Settings.

  3. Tap Refresh Networks.

  4. Tap Refresh.

  5. After refreshing, tap Okay. All your assets are back in sync with the blockchain.


How do I refresh Exodus Desktop?

This network refresh scans an asset's blockchain for your entire transaction history, ensuring your balance is up to date.

  1. a) Click the Portfolio icon and b) select an asset.

  2. Click the dropdown menu to expand assets enabled on multiple networks. Select the correct network.

  3. Click the asset's logo.

  4. a) Click Refresh. b) Once the asset's icon finishes spinning, your asset is back in sync with the blockchain.


How do I refresh from the asset menu?

This network refresh scans an asset's blockchain for your entire transaction history, ensuring your balance is up to date.

How do I refresh Exodus Web3 Wallet?

If you have issues with your Exodus Web3 Wallet and the balances are not updating, try the following troubleshooting steps to refresh your wallet:

  • Ensure you are on the latest version of Web3 Wallet: How do I update Exodus?

  • Close and reopen your browser

  • Relaunch the Web3 Wallet by disabling and reenabling it. To do this, a) click the Extensions icon, b) click Manage Extensions, then c) toggle it off and on again.

  • Restart your device
