How does pricing work in Exodus?

Exodus calculates asset prices using data from multiple third-party providers. Currently, Exodus aggregates pricing information from:

  • CoinMarketCap

  • CoinGecko

  • CryptoCompare

  • GeckoTerminal

In Exodus Desktop and Web3 Wallet, asset prices are typically refreshed within a minute. On Exodus Mobile, some assets support near real-time pricing.

What is real-time pricing in Exodus Mobile?

In Exodus Mobile, on the portfolio screen, some assets support real-time price updates, while others receive updates every few minutes.

If an asset supports real-time pricing, its chart will have a Live option in the dropdown menu, and the price and chart will update in near real time.

The timing of price and chart updates can vary depending on market activity. If there is little price movement, price updates in your portfolio or asset wallet may appear less frequently.

How do I check the total fiat value of my Exodus wallet?

Mobile

In Exodus Mobile, your portfolio's fiat value is shown in the circle graph.

The balances shown depend on where you view the graph. For example, the circle graph in your Exodus crypto wallet only shows your crypto balance and does not include your Exodus Pay or Exodus Markets balances.

You can tap on the circle graph to view a) your total balance across all features and b) an overview of your balances. c) In the crypto wallet and Exodus Markets, you'll also see an overview of your holdings.

  • In Exodus Markets, the circle graph will not appear if your Markets balance is $0.5 or less

  • If your portfolio value is currently hidden in the circle graph, learn how to show it again here: How do I hide my portfolio value?

Desktop

You can easily see the total value of all your blockchain assets by clicking on Portfolio at the top of your Exodus Desktop wallet.

Here you will see a visual breakdown of your percentage of each blockchain asset.

Under the chart, you can see the total balance of each crypto you hold along with the percentage it makes towards your holdings, a 30-day trendline, market price per asset, market cap, 24-hour volume, 24-hour change, and the total value of your holdings.

Web3 Wallet

You can see the total value of the funds in your Web3 Wallet by tapping on the Wallet icon and looking at the value in Total Balance.

Only the fiat value of crypto assets on supported networks will appear. To see the networks supported by the Web3 Wallet, visit: Which networks and tokens does Exodus Web3 Wallet support? This means that you will see the fiat value of assets on supported networks.

If you want to see the total value for a specific network, then you can click the arrows to switch between seeing the total balance from all of the networks or only balances from a specific network.
