Why would I want to have multiple portfolios?
Having multiple portfolios in Exodus can be useful for organizing your crypto. You could have different portfolios for different purposes, such as a separate portfolio for savings and another for DeFi transactions.
Having multiple portfolios lets you keep transactions and balances separate, like having multiple accounts at the same bank.
To access a wallet with multiple portfolios, you can download Exodus.
What happens when I create another portfolio?
You can have up to 3 portfolios in your Exodus wallet.
When you create another portfolio, your Exodus wallet derives it from the same secret key. This means you can restore every portfolio you create from the same secret key.
Each portfolio has its unique derivation from the original secret key: the first derivation is the first portfolio you create, the second derivation is the second portfolio, etc.
Since all of your portfolios are linked to the same secret key, it's crucial to keep your secret key safe.
