What are personal notes?
Personal notes allow you to add additional details to your transactions in Exodus.
You can use them to keep track of your transactions and remember important details, such as the purpose of a transaction or information on the sender or recipient.
When you add a personal note, it appears next to your transaction in your history. If you use the same Exodus wallet on multiple devices, your notes will automatically sync across your devices.
You can edit or delete your personal notes at any time.

Can anyone else see my personal notes?
Your personal notes are only visible to you.
To keep your notes private and secure, they are encrypted using your 12-word secret recovery phrase.
This ensures that even when using your wallet on multiple devices, your notes will automatically sync across all your devices while ensuring only you can see them.
Adding personal notes requires wallet access via your 12-word secret recovery phrase. If you notice personal notes you didn't create, your wallet may be compromised. In this case, immediately contact Exodus Support at [email protected] or visit the messenger (purple chat icon in the bottom-right corner) to start a chat.
