How do Ondo tokenized stocks work?

Ondo tokenized stocks are blockchain tokens issued by Ondo Global Markets.

Ondo tokenized stocks use a total-return tracker system. The price tracks the overall performance of the underlying securities, including price movements and any potential dividends or interest.

To learn more about Ondo tokens and how pricing works, visit Ondo's docs:

All Ondo tokens use a ticker ending in "on". For example, the ticker of Ondo Tokenized EXOD is EXODon.

Exodus Markets supports Ondo tokenized stocks on the Solana network, and you hold the tokens at your Exodus Solana address.

Is holding a tokenized stock the same as owning the security?

Holding Ondo tokenized stocks is not the same as owning the underlying security.

Tokenized stocks track the performance of the referenced security but do not provide shareholder rights, voting rights, or any direct claim against the issuer. They are not FDIC insured. As with any investment, you may lose some or all of the amount you invest. Please do your own research before investing.

Exodus Markets is not a brokerage. When you hold tokenized stocks in Exodus Markets, you hold them in your wallet as tokens on the Solana network, not as assets held in a traditional brokerage.

To learn more about the tokenized stocks and how the underlying securities are held, visit Ondo's doc: Legal & Regulatory.

Are the tokenized stocks backed by the underlying security?

Ondo tokenized stocks are designed to be fully backed by the underlying securities.

For more information on how Ondo tokenized stocks are backed, see Ondo’s doc: How do I know my funds and assets are protected?

You can find daily attestation reports of Ondo tokenized stock holdings on Ondo's website under Token Holder Protections, on the page for each tokenized stock.

Why is the price of the tokenized stock different from the underlying security?

Because Ondo tokenized stocks use a total-return tracker, the price reflects overall performance, including price movements, potential dividends, and interest.

As a result, the price of tokenized stocks may differ from the price of the underlying securities.

Are Ondo tokenized stocks available in the Exodus crypto wallet?

Ondo tokenized stocks on the Solana network are only available in Exodus Markets and will not appear in the Exodus crypto wallet.
