In Exodus, you can buy crypto with various third-party fiat API providers, depending on your region and local crypto regulations.

In some cases, you have the option to select a different third-party fiat API provider.

You will see the option to choose your third-party fiat API provider if:

  • The best price is available through the other provider, but you haven't completed KYC with them.
  • You haven't completed KYC with either provider.

You won't see the option to choose your third-party fiat API provider if:

  • You have KYC'd with all providers. In this case, you'll only see the provider with the best rate.
  • You have completed KYC with the provider that has the best rate.

You can follow the below steps to choose a different third-party fiat API provider if the option is available.

What are the fees for buying crypto with Sardine?

When making a purchase through Sardine, any fees you pay will always be included in the total amount shown on the purchase screen.

Sardine includes a network fee to cover transaction costs, as well as a processing fee. The network fee goes to the miners or validators of that blockchain, not Sardine. You can read more about how network transaction fees work in our Knowledge Base article.

If you choose to pay $100 USD, that is all you will be charged.

You can see any fees on the order confirmation screen before submitting an order:

Fees may change in response to market conditions.

How do I find my Sardine order ID?

If you have a question about your purchase and need to reach out to Sardine's support team, you can give them your order ID to help them help you faster. Here's how to find it.

After completing your order, you should receive an email with the subject line Checkout. Open that email to see your purchase details, including your order ID.

Why isn't my order going through?

Generally, your crypto should arrive between 5-20 minutes.

However, some factors could prevent your payment from going through, which may stop your crypto from arriving.

Ensure your payment was completed

The first thing you should do is ensure that your payment wasn't rejected for any reason.

  • At the end of the transaction process, you should have received a link to the transaction summary. This will also provide you with a status that may indicate if your payment was rejected.
  • If your payment was rejected, you may need to contact your bank

Ensure your Exodus wallet is synced to the blockchain

If your payment went through, and it's been longer than 5-20 minutes, and you still haven't received your crypto, you will want to ensure that your Exodus wallet is syncing properly to the blockchain.

If the above steps do not resolve your issue, you can email Sardine's support team at [email protected].

What are the order limits for using Sardine?

Sardine uses a data-driven approach to determine purchase limits. These limits are recalculated on a weekly or monthly basis and are designed to add an extra layer of security.

While the specifics of maximum limits aren't shared because they are constantly changing, the minimum order for buying crypto with Sardine in Exodus is $50.
